
Maggie Lorenz
Executive Director, Lower Phalen Creek Project
Maggie Lorenz is executive director at Lower Phalen Creek Project, a Native-led environmental conservation nonprofit on Saint Paul's East Side. Maggie has spent her professional career in the fields of education, cultural resiliency and healing, and environmental justice.
In addition to the F. R. Bigelow Foundation Board, she currently serves as the parent committee chair at Bdote Learning Center where her daughter attends first grade. She is also a long-time volunteer with Dream of Wild Health where she coordinates the East Side urban community garden. She obtained her Bachelors’ degree from Metropolitan State University.
